ABOUT

DEDO CIEGO is the work of mixmedia directors and visual artists Ana Gale and Joaquín Urbina. We create films and visuals for brands, musicians, tv networks, art institutions and ourselves.

We love to explore moving images, WE CHASE THE IDEAS INSIDE THE FORMS. We walk diverse and unexpected paths combining handcraft techniques, physical objects, digital materials and analogue processes to achieve unique results.

Our art direction driven work combines live action, animation and print and has been recognised by Vimeo Staff Picks, Laus, Stashmedia, Motionographer, Onedotzero, Art of the Title, Ciclope and Gràffica among others.

Our base is Barcelona.

DEDO CIEGO is a creative av studio formed by mixed-media directors JOAQUÍN URBINA and ANA GALE .

We design, animate and direct spots, music videos, title sequences and tv graphics. We love to explore moving images combining handcraft techniques, physical objects, digital materials and analogue processes to achieve strong concepts and unique organic results.

We collaborate with local and international brands, agencies, festivals, record labels, tv networks and film production companies. Our work has been recognised by Vimeo Staff Picks, Laus and Gràffica Awards, Stashmedia, Motionographer and Art of the Title.

We teach music-oriented visual narratives and experimental animation at the ELISAVA MA Course in AV Creation and Direction and Postgraduate Course in Design and Communication Strategies and stop-motion at the LABASAD MA Course in Motion Graphics.

We are based in Barcelona.
